Full marks for simplicity and comfort in these new wood-and-bamboo bungalows that spill across the hillside. Each of the ten or so rooms has its own quirky design trait; a bamboo plant holder on the balcony, a hanging shell mobile, an artful driftwood fence.
In a kind of Bali-meets-Thailand style, a stone statue of elephant God Ganesh greets you at the entrance, along with sculpted flowers on the fence-line and craftwork made of found objects (check out the coconut curtain). The bungalows are simple and surprisingly spacious, with shelves and cupboards and even enough space to stow your backpack. Beds are comfortable beside fans and beneath swathes of mosquito net (which you'll need, the skeeters are ferocious here). The bathrooms are a step up from normal budget bungalow style, some with tiles and all with clean ceramic.

The staff were always smiling and wanting to help us with anything. Met us at the pier and dropped our bags off again when we left. We paid 1500baht for 3 people per night, great comfy rooms. Would definately stay again.. Nice quite spot too

This was simply the most beautiful bungalow we stayed in during our entire trip: Spacious, all wooden, great decorations and really nice people. Plus: they don't have a restaurant so you're free to buy food on the market and enjoy it on your porch. It far from all the hustle and bustle of Phi Phi Town which makes it calmingly quiet (apart from the early morning rooster) but also envolves a lot of walking back and forth. Still, if you (have to) stay in Phi Phi Town, go here
